Surgical Steel has nickel in it.

Sterling Silver has copper in it.

If you have a known allergy to either nickel or copper then you need to choose the correct earwire when ordering. No returns will be accepted based on allergies.

I do not know what metal the gold earwires are, possibly brass. Until I have gold-plated earwires, only order the gold ones if you do not have any known allergies to metal.
